in episode 1, we start off with domon kashu, neojapan's gundam fighter with crew member Rain mikamura.  if a country has neo in front, it means that it is the colony version of the country.  every 4 years, a competition is held to see which country will rule outerspace.  This is a substitute for war.  Domon seems to be a shady, yet interstingly powerful character who seems to be looking for a man in a torn photo.  this man is kyoji, his older brother, who let his mother die and forced his father's cryptic imprisonment.  so domon wants revenge, so he can find the gundam used to commit mass mayhem, the dark gundam.  His former master, asia, is a folower of kyoji and wants to get domon, his very own pupil. asia teams up with wong, the ruler of outer space and begin to redevelop the drak gundam.
